Eric Lyn Flier

Eric Lyn Flier, age 27 of Waupun, held a hand of an angel on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Eric was born on April 3, 1981 in Waupun, the son of Gary and Karen (Daniels) Flier.

He attended local schools and as a youth participated in the Little League and Youth Soccer programs. Eric was formerly employed at Robbins Manufacturing in Fall River and also Kendall Packaging in Jefferson. Currently, he worked at Flexographic Packaging Company of Waupun, where he was a press operator. The most important thing in Eric’s life was the time he spent with his daughter Kailey. He enjoyed outdoor activities and had many fond memories of family camping trips. Fishing was a favorite activity and so was canoeing with his friends. He loved working on cars and was looking forward to fixing up his Trans Am.

Eric is survived by his parents Gary and Karen Flier of Waupun; two daughters, Caillie Marie Feuerhammer of Fox Lake; and Kailey Anne Wegener, of Waupun; his sister, Dawn (Calvin) Greenfield, Waupun; paternal grandfather, Cornelius Flier, maternal grandmother, Doris Daniels, both of Waupun; his nephew, Bryce Greenfield and his niece, Hannah Greenfield; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by Robert Daniels, his maternal grandfather; and Ann Flier, his paternal grandmother.

A Celebration of Eric‘s Life will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the First Reformed Church, 422 West Franklin Street, Waupun with the Rev. Donald Boss officiating.

Eric’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Church on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services.
