Shirley Katheryn Sasada

Shirley Katheryn Sasada age 89, of Randolph went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter Morning March 23, 2008 at the Golden Living Center (Continental Manor) of Randolph.

Shirley was born September 13, 1918 in Randolph the daughter of Otto and Jane (Owen) Sasada. She was a life long resident of Randolph and member of the Randolph United Methodist, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir.

Shirley is survived by a sister-in-law, Eleanore Sasada, Minneapolis, MN; three nephews, Howard (Debra) Sasada, Minneapolis, MN; David (Ellen) Sasada, California; Mark (Linda) Sasada, Reno, NV; two nieces, Cheryl (David) Rys, Minneapolis, MN; and Nancy Sasada, California, three grand-nephews, two grand-nieces, and special friends, Mick and Arlys Omen, Randolph

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lyle and Keith Sasada, and a sister, Maysel Sasada.

The celebration of Shirley life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 from the Randolph United Methodist, 227 N. High Street, Randolph with Pastor Jeff Meyer officiating. Interment will be in the Randolph Cemetery. Shirley’s family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

A memorial fund is being established in Shirley’s name for the Church.
