Marilyn Lee Lloyd, age 82 of Randolph, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam, surrounded by her family.

Marilyn was born on February 11, 1926 in Randolph, a daughter of Henry and Gladys (Ridgway) Pritchard. She attended local schools and following her graduation from Randolph High School in 1944, Marilyn attended Carroll College in Waukesha. She completed her education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and then taught Kindergarten for seventeen years at Foster School in Appleton. On September 9, 1967, she was united in marriage to Robert Lloyd at the Bethany Presbyterian Church Manse where she has been a lifelong member. Robert and Marilyn lived in the Randolph area and enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and Hawaii. Her love for music was shared with others when she played the organ for church services. Marilyn was very proud of her Welsh Heritage and enjoyed attending Gymanfa Ganu, (Welsh Hymn Sings) in Wisconsin and often traveling to the National events.

Marilyn is survived by Robert, her husband of forty years; one sister, Gwen Ganz of Fox Lake; her very loving friend and caregiver, Mary Mulder of Fox Lake; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Lloyd of Cambria. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marjorie Pierce; and four brothers-in-law, Glenn Pierce; Reuben Ganz; Hayden Lloyd; and Pierce Lloyd.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 275 North High Street, Randolph with the Rev. Linda Heisler officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

A Memorial Fund has been established for the Salvation Army, and the Macular Degeneration Foundation.
