Joe Meyer

Joe Meyer, age 53 of Randolph, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2008.

Joe was born on October 3, 1955, in Rensselaer, Indiana, a son of John and Josephine (Boender) Meyer. On May 25, 1979 he was united in marriage to Jaclyn Bump. Joe enjoyed his life on the farm. He was an outdoorsman who had great times fishing and hunting with family and friends. He most loved spending time with his family.

Joe will be missed and is lovingly survived by Jaclyn, his wife of twenty-nine years; three children, Jeanine and her husband Jon Burmania, Madison; Jared Meyer, Orlando, FL; Jennie and her husband Troy Van Beek, Downers Grove, IL; his granddaughter, Ella Burmania; his brother Nick (Mary) Meyer, Randolph; and his sister, Sarah Hoffman, Fall River; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held Sunday, November 23, 2008, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Kelly’s, W11794 Concord Road, Randolph.

A Memorial Fund has been established in Joe’s name.
